Whalewatch Explorer and Ecocruz - 2nd August 2012
Another memorable Whalewatch Explorer today as we were blessed with sunshine and superb wildlife throughout. A few basking sharks got things going and some great views of a minke whale further out to the west. Lunchtime watching the seals and newly fledged terns before a surprise visit from a small group of common dolphins in the afternoon who rode our bow and wake for a few miles and at one point we thought we were going to take them back to Tobermory with us! WT eagle and another minke whale feeding with shearwater to finish off a great day. Ewan
We also had great success on both of our 2 hour Ecocruz's!!!
Basking shark coming over to Sula Crion on our first 2 hour Ecocruz of the day! :-)
Minke whale approaching Sula Crion on our second Ecocruz of the day! :-)
