Wildlife Adventure - 23rd October 2012

Wildlife Adventure Passengers 23/10/12 - Flat calm sea as we headed out of the bay this morning and with in 20 minutes the Mars bar was claimed as we got onto a very small, immature MINKE WHALE! The animal approached the boat as everyone on board got fantastic views. A lot of small groups of porpoise were seen as we made our way to the west. Working our way back in we saw the minke again and also a healthy hurry of feeding gulls and gannets. The action didn't stop there as we got incredible views of two adult white-tailed eagles in flight and an otter swimming yards away from the boat just after we took this photo back at the pontoon!
On the evening Eco cruise we saw porpoise, seals and a lovely sunset...what a day!! Ewan
