Ecocruz - 12th July 2013
We headed out for our first 2 hour trip this
morning unable to see Tobermory due to thick fog! However it soon
cleared and we were treated to lovely views of harbour porpoise in
perfect flat conditions, common seals and a fantastic look at the young
sea eagle perched very nearby enjoying the sun!
At 2pm we went back out in glorious sunshine with great views of the female white-tailed eagle taking flight right in front of Sula Beag. We also saw common seals, listened to the hydrophone, examined the plankton sample (including a moon jellyfish that we caught!) and hauled up a jam-packed creel pot!
