Whalewatch Explorer - 9th September 2013
Glorious
sunshine and incredible visibility today. The highlight was 2 pods of
common dolphins! We were with the first 50 for around half an hour
watching them feed amongst gannets & shearwaters and then play
around us. Just as we were leaving the area we were joined by another
30+ dolphins that headed straight for our bow and travelled with us for
some timeā¦ wow! We also spent a happy hour at the Cairns of Coll
watching the common seals in the sunshine and 2 white-tailed eagles
flying over our heads. Whilst at the Cairns we took a moment to remember
Sula and celebrate her life... boy would she have loved this trip!
